Terms and Conditions

Terminology

  • Meal Plan: Refers to the main product and service purchased by the customer from Bitez Meal Subscription FZ LLC. It also refers to the copy provided to the client either by email or online as a reference for the dishes they will receive for the duration of their plan.
  • Dashboard: Refers to the online client portal that allows him/her to manage their account and is accessible at Www.bitez.me
  • Account Manager: The designated contact person for the client, who will provide assistance regarding any concerns, requests, changes, and complaints.
  • Pause days: The number of days a client can put their meal plan on hold (e.g., for holidays, traveling, Ramadan, etc.).
  • Substitute: The act of replacing a dish on your menu request.
  • Cut Off: The set time to finalize any requests or changes to the meal plan.
  • Paid Wastage: Refers to canceled delivery, which is still considered a paid meal and will no longer be added to the plan.

Conditions

  • All clients who have completed their online signup are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions from their registration until the end of their plan and until renewal.
  • Bitez reserves the right to send promotional notifications, including but not limited to emails, SMS, and WhatsApp to all clients unless they have unsubscribed or requested to unsubscribe.
  • Bitez reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Bitez reserves the right to refuse clients with specific diets, allergies, and/or critical medical conditions.

Online Payment Terms & Conditions

  • “Bitez Meal Subscription Fz LLC” maintains the website Www.bitez.me
  • United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile, and the governing law is the local law. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in UAE.
  • Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED will be accepted for payment.
  • We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with UAE law.
  • Any customer using the website who is a minor/under the age of 18 shall not register as a user of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.
  • Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.

Discounts

  • Extra perks/discounts are calculated based on the number of times the client renews their meal plan and cannot be combined with any other offers.
  • Corporate discounts can be added based on the terms agreed upon by Bitez and the other company.

Delivery

  • Delivery is to be made based on the agreed start date, location, and timing.
  • Daily delivery is between 3:30 am – 8 am or 6 pm – 10 pm. Any specific timing of delivery is subject to approval.
  • Changes to your delivery (location or timing) must be made by 6:00 PM the day before your scheduled delivery. Last-minute adjustments require confirmation from your Account Manager. If confirmation is not received by the cutoff, the meal will be delivered as scheduled, with no refunds issued.
  • If you are unavailable to receive your order and request the delivery to be left outside the door, Bitez cannot be held responsible for missing items or damages (including spoilage).
  • Building security must be informed of the expected delivery to pre-authorize drivers to drop food bags at your doorstep.
  • If you fail to respond to the logistics team within 10 minutes of arrival and no instructions are provided, the delivery will be canceled, and no credit will be issued.

Food Storage, Consumption, Reheating, and Labels

  • All food must be refrigerated between 1°C – 4°C upon delivery. Follow reheating instructions on the label.
  • Bitez is not liable for incidents related to food handling after delivery.

Freezes, Substitutes, and Other Meal Plan Changes

  • Freeze (Pause) requests and meal substitutes must be made by 6 pm the previous day through the application.
  • Meal plans can be frozen for up to 20 days. Freezes exceeding this duration will result in the forfeiture of the remaining plan.
  • Changes not confirmed by the 6:00 PM cutoff will result in the meal being delivered as scheduled, with no refunds issued.
  • Bitez is not responsible for dislikes, allergies, or nutritional value changes when substitutions are made by the client.
  • Additional requests (e.g., adding preferences) will take 3 business days to apply.

Dislikes, Allergies, Preferences, and Medical Conditions

  • Meals may be amended according to declared dislikes, allergies, or preferences stated prior to receiving food. Bitez will not assume liability for reactions to undeclared dislikes or allergens.

Payment Confirmations

  • Once payment is made, confirmation will be sent via email within 24 hours.

Cancellation and Refund

  • Bitez encourages clients to adhere to their plans as scheduled. Issues must be addressed with the Account Manager promptly for resolution.
  • No refunds are offered for cancellations.
